I woke up in the middle of the night with excruciating pain somewhere inside of me. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom because I didn’t know what else to do. I slid to the floor in a cold sweat before crawling back to bed to wake my husband. We were 300 miles away from home in someone’s guest room, and I had what I thought was a kidney stone, and I needed a hospital.

I asked my husband to pray. “I need healing,” I said as I laid back down writhing in pain. I began to panic, and I called out to God, and that is when I heard God’s voice whisper, “Trust me.” I heard it and took a deep breath and said, “Oh, I trust you,” and as I slowly exhaled, I was flooded with peace, and the pain left me. I was healed, and I have been fine ever since.

Do You Need Healing?

God is not far from you. God wants you to trust Him just like I did. Call to him and ask him to heal you. Put your faith in Him. You may have run from Him in the past, disappointed Him, sinned against Him, and turned from Him. You may be trusting in your own self or doctors, or maybe your hope is in your insurance company, medicine, or some other fancy treatment. But there is a God who heals, and He wants to heal you.

Proverbs 3:5‬

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; lean not on your own understanding.”

There was a woman in the Bible who spent every dime she had on doctors trying to get well. All her hope was in them. She proved it by giving the doctors all her money. They tried everything, but when her money ran out, so did they. They gave up on her. God has not given up on you. You haven’t gone so far from him that he won’t take you back right now.

This woman heard that Jesus was coming through her town, and she said to herself, “if I go and just touch the hem of his robe, I will be healed.” Her faith shifted from the doctors to Jesus. As soon as she touched the hem of his garment, she felt healing overwhelm her (Mark 5:25-34). She knew she was well. Jesus didn’t disappoint her, and he won’t disappoint you. Just don’t quit believing in him.

He has the same answer for you. Just trust him.

Your Thoughts are Killing You!

"Take Control of Your Mind and Close the Door to those Negative, Depressing, Fearful, Worrisome Thoughts Forever."

Do you struggle with thoughts of shame or guilt, feeling burdened, lost, and overwhelmed? Maybe you believe you are stuck in a pit and can’t get out, and even worse you believe you deserve to be there.

I understand, because I was once there too! I wrote my book “Your Thoughts are Killing You” in order to share this message—God wants the best for you, and He has the means to get you there!

Trust in God One More Time

Jesus is calling you to trust in Him. He is waiting for you to come to your senses and come to him. Don’t wait until all hope is gone. Don’t wait for the medicine to fail or for the doctors to fail you. Call out to God now. You are not alone. God is waiting for you, hoping for you to return to him and trust him again. Tell him right now. “I need you Lord, I need healing.”

You may not have faith in Him, but you are not reading this by accident. God is speaking to you now. You may have prayed in the past and given up on God. But I urge you to trust Him again. Trust him one more time. Trust him like never before. Trust him a little longer, a little further than you have in the past. He is the God of miracles, the God of the impossible, the God of every hopeless situation.

God Has No Favorites

He heals everyone. If he did it for me, he will do it for you. I don’t deserve healing any more than you do. I didn’t deserve it at all. I am pretty sure I sinned that day. I am pretty sure I was selfish that day. This is what blows me away. How can God be so good to me, imperfect me? This is God’s nature. His nature is to heal and make whole, to restore and to bless. He is good and He wants to be good to you. He wants to answer you when you cry out to Him. God is gracious, abounding in love, and full of mercy.

Jesus is the Answer When I Need Healing

People complain to us all the time about their health. What do you tell someone who says, “I need healing?” What do you offer them? Do you tell them what doctor to go to or what medicine or herb works best, or do you stop and pray with them? Be convinced that He is the answer. Don’t wait until all else fails; come to Him first. May He be the first one you turn to. May He be the answer for you and all your loved ones.

I need healing every day. I need it today, and I will need it tomorrow.

Thank you, Lord, for healing the person reading this. Help them as you helped me. Help them to trust you and lean on you and believe in your love and goodness.

Acts 2:21‬

“and it shall be that everyone shall be saved who calls on the name of the Lord.”
