Healing Testimonies
Real stories from people who have experienced God's healing power through prayer and Scripture.
“In July 2019, I had just finished college and was planning on moving to China. I bought 10-15 books surrounding social anxiety and a closer relationship with God. Your book was one that stood out to me. On October 10th, I received a call — my grandfather was dying from a kidney infection and sepsis. I remembered the declarations in your book and the Bible verses that backed them. The peace that passes understanding truly did surround me. My mom and I began reading the declarations over him multiple times a day. He eventually regained consciousness and joined us in saying the declarations. After almost 2 months in the hospital, he was released. I'm happy to report he made a full recovery and is still alive today at 84 — still driving, gardening, going to church, and so much more. My whole family agrees your book played a pivotal role in his recovery.”

Re: Your Thoughts Are Killing You
“I have basically HIGHLIGHTED every page of your book. My son, who is a priest, gave me your book. I memorized your book and read it aloud over and over; it was life-changing; no new meds, no hospital, and I was HEALED!!!! PRAISE GOD!!! I tell EVERYONE about it. I can't THANK YOU enough. May GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR MINISTRY.”

Re: Your Thoughts Are Killing You
“On Monday I asked for prayers for a toothache I'd been struggling with. Mary Beth answered, 'I will wholeheartedly stand in faith with you.' On Tuesday morning at 2am I woke up and to my thankfulness to Jesus I had no more pain and my swelling had gone. Prayers were answered. You are a great teacher of the Truth — keep up the teaching on healing because that is one of the greatest needs of the Body of Christ.”

- Does God still heal today?
- Yes! Scripture tells us that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). The healing ministry of Jesus did not end with the Apostles — it continues through the Church today through the sacraments, prayer, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
- Is healing prayer part of Catholic tradition?
- Absolutely. The Catholic Church has a rich tradition of healing prayer, from the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick to charismatic healing services. The Catechism teaches that the Holy Spirit gives certain Christians special charisms of healing (CCC 1508).
- How can I receive healing prayer?
- You can join our daily healing prayer call (Monday–Friday at 1:00 PM CST), watch our free 21-part healing video series, or use our downloadable healing scriptures for personal prayer. We also encourage you to receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick and participate in Eucharistic Adoration.
- What if I don't receive physical healing?
- God's healing is not limited to the physical. He heals spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. Sometimes healing comes gradually, and sometimes God's plan includes a deeper spiritual healing. We trust in His love and goodness even when the outcome differs from what we expect.
- Are healing scriptures biblical?
- Yes. Scripture is full of God's promises regarding healing. Isaiah 53:5, Psalm 103:3, James 5:14-15, and 1 Peter 2:24 are just a few of the many passages that speak to God's desire and power to heal.
