God’s Healing Covenant
The New Covenant is Binding
God made a Covenant with us that is binding on Him forever. He bound Himself to us with the New Covenant. Who does that? He made a covenant with us through His son, Jesus, and sealed it forever with His Blood which he poured out for us on the Cross. God obligated himself to love us, heal us, deliver us, redeem us, forgive us, save us, restore us……eternal life. He made a Covenant with Jesus before time began, that includes us as beneficiaries because He loves us. It is unconditional and never-ending on His part. God the Father had His son crucified as a permanent sacrifice. He sealed the covenant in the blood of His son.
We become part of this covenant through faith. John 3:15 says that “Everyone who believes in him will have eternal life.”
Nailed to the tree
He can’t take it back. He nailed His son to a tree to* prove His love for you*! His decision for you was permanent and there is no going back on it. He won’t take it back. He will never change His mind. He bound himself to us in a covenant relationship with us forever and the Cross made it permanent. God’s decision to love and heal you has already been made, and it too is permanent.
God does not change his mind
God is bound to His Word. He and His word are inseparable. God will not go back on His Word. He can’t. He decided to forgive and heal us by sending His Son to live and die for us. He did it, not knowing if anyone would accept it or receive this gift of love and forgiveness. What if no one did? What if only one person received God’s love by accepting this gift of salvation? God would have sent His son for just one person.
God chose you?
If you were the only one to believe in Jesus and accept His free gift of salvation, God would have sent His son for you. That is how much He loves you.
God chose to bind Himself in a covenant relationship with us through His son Jesus. This Covenant binds them both to us. They didn’t have to; this was an act of incredible love. God chose us, and now He is waiting for us to choose Him and become part of His family by entering into this Covenant relationship with Him. It is wide open to all who receive Him. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

“Be Healed in the Name of Jesus”
God is the source of Love
God’s love for you is not based on your ability to love God, but God’s. God is the source of love. His love for you is based on His character, not yours. He is love and He has poured His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). All love comes from God; it is a gift from God which He wants to give us, His children. God first loved us. It is only because He loves us that we can love Him. We can also love others selflessly because he has poured His love into us and because He lives in us. You have been chosen. God has chosen to love you.
The Bible says that God sent forth His Word to heal us; Jesus is the Word of God made flesh, whom God sent to heal you and me.
Psalm 107:20 He sent forth His Word to heal them and snatched them from the grave.
God sent His Word to the Earth
God sent His Word to the Earth to show us his love and to heal us. His word does what it says it will do. If God said He sent His word to heal us then that is what the word of God does. It heals us. God said in Isaiah 55:11, “So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; It shall not return to me empty but shall do what pleases me, achieving the end for which I sent it.” God sent Jesus on a rescue mission and His mission was us. He came to the earth with a purpose. He was the Word that God sent forth. As the Word of God, Jesus was sent to Earth to rebuild, restore, replenish, and rescue you.
John chapter 1 says that the Word of God became flesh and made His dwelling among us. Jesus, the Word of God, was with God in the beginning when God created the heavens and the Earth and everything in it. Everything God created came through His Word, through Jesus.
John 1:1-3In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came to be through Him, and nothing came to be without Him.
Jesus came to make us sons and daughters of God. Though He came first to the Jews, they did not accept Him. But to those who did receive Him, to those who believe in His name, He gave the power to become children of God
Communion – access to covenant
Every time we take communion, we remind ourselves–and God– to whom we belong. When we eat His Body and drink His Blood, we proclaim His death and our allegiance. We are declaring we are partakers in the New Covenant. By eating the sacrifice, we show ourselves to be part of the Covenant in the Blood of Jesus. We are saying “yes” to the covenant God made with Jesus for us.
Join us on Zoom every Thursday for prayer and teachings.
We receive all the benefits of the New Covenant
In Christ and through Christ, we are now children of the Most High God, and because of that, we are special, and we receive all the benefits and rights that come with being Children of the King of Kings.
How do we access the benefits
We access all the benefits of the Kingdom of God through Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and life. He is our access into the throne room of the Father. Jesus, by His death, made the way for us to go to the Father. God knew from the beginning that we could never make it to Heaven on our own. He knew before time began that we needed a savior. We could never measure up; we could never be perfect. But Jesus could. Jesus is the only one who could be the unblemished lamb, and therefore He was sacrificed for all of us. He was so perfect that His blood won entrance to Heaven for the entire world.
We could never make it to Heaven without Jesus. Fortunately, we were never meant to. God had planned it all along. “When the fullness of time had come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to ransom those under the law so that we might receive adoption.”
God gives is children choices
God wanted us as His children all along. Despite that, He gave us a choice. Through Christ, we become children. God gave us everything because of Jesus. Jesus won everything for us when He died for us. The Bible says that if God gave us Jesus, what else will He give us? There is nothing He is keeping from us, least of all healing. God gave us Jesus as proof of His love. If He will give us Jesus, He will give us anything and everything. There is nothing He won’t do for you, His child.
He wants us to love Him, follow Him, serve Him and trust Him with our health and welfare. He is our Father, our provider, our protector, our defender, and our ever-present help in time of need. You are worth healing. And He expects us to believe this and act as if we believe it.
ROMANS 5:8 *But God proves his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for *
“You can be pitiful, or you can be powerful, but you can’t be both. ” Joyce Meyer
ROMANS 5:6-11 *For Christ, while we were still helpless, yet died at the appointed time for the ungodly. 7 Indeed, only with difficulty does one die for a just person, though perhaps for a good person, one might even find the courage to die. 8 But God proves his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 How much more then, since his blood now justifies us, will we be saved through him from the wrath. 10 Indeed, if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more, once reconciled, will his life save us. 11 Not only that, but we also boast of God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.*Psalm 91: 2-4 This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. 3 For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.4 He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. NLT
Choose to believe God’s Word
“Lord, I choose to believe you love me (whether you do or don’t). I choose to believe as my gift to you. So, whether or not you love me is up to you, God. I am going to believe you love me and give my faith to you as a gift. I choose to believe I am forgiven and that you are no longer holding any sin against me. I choose to believe that Jesus’ passion (death, burial, and resurrection) were enough to pay for all my sins. I can’t pay for my sins, but Jesus can and did.”
